If you’re anything like me, you take an exorbitant number of photos with your phone and a good bit of those end up on Instagram or Facebook. Both my parents and in-laws are active on social media and can see the pictures when they post, but my grandparents don’t even have a computer. Even though I take lots of pictures of my kids and even though we are able to spend time with my grandparents fairly regularly, the one grand-daughterly duty that I’m terrible about is making sure to keep them supplied with updated pictures of the kids.
So I was really excited when I found Coastergrams, which are high-gloss, water restistant drink coasters made from your Instagram images. I have two sets of 4 coasters that we’ve been using for several weeks and we’ve have been really happy with the quality. Because Coastergrams are usually received 3-7 business days after you order, I’m trying to get one more great shot of my kids together soon so that I can order coasters as a Mother’s Day gift for my Nana.
So how’s it work? The whole process is as no-hassle as you could ever ask for! Simply go to coastergrams.com and click on “get started”. From there you’ll be able to log into your instagram account and select which images you’d like to have made into coasters. Checkout and pay. It’s really that easy.
Don’t have an instagram account? That’s okay! Just contact the coastergram guys and you can email your images to them!

April 28, 2014 at 2:58 pmI just love this idea! I take a million photos but don’t usually do much with them, but these would make the perfect gift for family members. And it would help me use up those pics. 🙂
