Once upon a time, I had a new hair style every couple of months. Long, long ago I spent more than 20 minutes on my hair without a single interruption. Now there are days that I find silly putty in my hair (just last week, if you must know.) Most days there are 15 minutes (which includes at least 3 interruptions) to do something half decent with my hair. Meet my best friend, “Connie”!
A few years ago I found the Conair infiniti straightener, who I fondly named,”Connie”, at Costco. I fell in love. So much in love that I made a silly YouTube video to share with my friends! I’m going to get over myself and post the video for you to watch too. It will show you a fun way to curl your hair with a straightener. Yes, curl it! It will hold for DAYS too. If you are one that loses curl within a few hours, you must try curling your hair this way. Your curls won’t go away until you get your hair wet. I have a friend who is Micronesian and has super smooth, straight hair and it stayed curled for 3 days after I curled it with my straightener. It should work on most hair types. There are so many fun boards on Pinterest with great hair ideas and tutorials. Just because we are mom’s with little time to do our hair, doesn’t mean we can’t make it look somewhat fabulous with the time we have. Do yourself a favor and get the right tools, start with a conair infiniti straightener. There are a few options available on Amazon for a great price. If you want to curl your hair, don’t get one that is wider than 1 in. This straightener is also great because of it’s longer plates. You can straighten or curl more hair at once. Another time saver!
