Being pregnant with our fourth child, I really didn’t feel we would have to get a lot and/or “need” a lot this final time around. That is, until I saw the cradle from BABYBJÖRN. I originally heard about this awesome product last year at the ABC Kids Expo. When I found out we were expecting again, I knew this was something we had to have that was going to make life easier after our 4th blessing arrived. Main reason being, we had our other three in a little starter home that was perfect at that time. We quickly outgrew that home and now are in a much larger home where the bedrooms aren’t next door any more. That equated in my head to middle of the night feedings and stairs. Not a good combination if I didn’t have to do that. Enter….the BABYBJÖRN Cradle!
- It’s sleep, stylish and minimalist in my eyes. It’s not an eyesore in the middle of the room. It goes with a lot of different decor if you will be having this out for all to see.
- I love the color of the wood on the side. Again, very stylish.
- The metal feet have rubberized padding on the ends so that it for one, stays. But second of all, doesn’t scratch or catch on whatever flooring you have.
- In addition, this design offers the baby to “rock” him/herself to sleep. With the baby’s movement, motion is created due to the design of this cradle. Totally awesome I think! If the baby is restless and you don’t know what to do, give the cradle a nudge for the movement to begin as well.
- I’m thrilled about the mesh siding. With all the scares for babies passing in their sleep, I love that this is mesh!
- The mattress is included.
- Very easy to assemble.
- The cradle is very lightweight, 13 lbs to be exact! It’s also not large. It is 26 inches tall, 31 inches long and 23 inches wide. Smaller obviously when it’s folded.
- This cradle is great for moving a sleeping baby from room to room or for traveling too.
