Two things to know about my oldest daughter: she loves art and she really loves tattoos. With her birthday money she decided to buy some sparkly tattoo pens. They look a lot like regular ballpoint pens but they write on skin easily and don’t wash off as easily. Although she can draw fairly well, her tattoo pen art wasn’t translating to what she saw in her head. So I introduced her to The Everything Girls Ultimate Body Art Book which gives you step-by-step directions on exactly how to draw some really cool tattoos. There are hearts and flowers and cute little food items like cupcakes and doughnuts. There are animals and henna and even cool skull tattoos (that are cute, not creepy)!
When I asked her about her favorite parts of doing these tattoos she said, “All of it”. But that doesn’t make for very good review material, so I asked her if she’d be willing to show y’all how it’s done. Pardon the shaky video. It’s hard to get your tattoo done and hold the camera still at the same time!
