Sisters. There isn’t really anything like it! I grew up with one sister, and now, come January, I will have four little ladies who will grow up with ALL sisters. It really is quite magical if you think about it. I mean, what are the chances!!?? If you didn’t know, a movie came our recently and that too was about sisters, and the love and bond they share. I had fun putting together a little afternoon out with my little ladies celebrating sisterhood, and, you guessed it, it was related to the new FROZEN movie!!
A little over a week ago, we had the amazing opportunity to not only see FROZEN in theaters, but check out some seriously fabulous merchandise that goes along with the movie. To say my girls were pumped out of their FROZEN minds would be an understatement. We made it a true “sisters day out” and had a blast. I wanted to share with you what we did and how you could duplicate this as well, on whatever level you want, grand or small.
For starters, we went around our local Wal-Mart and checked out all the FROZEN merchandise they have to offer. The toy section at Wal-Mart was exploding with FROZEN Merchandise, and it was all very prominently placed on end caps for all to see. The girls each got to pick out an item, and goodness was that hard for them with all there was to choose from 🙂
We then went over to the book section and found that they offered FROZEN books as well. We are a big reading family, my girls just love it and my husband and I love that they love it 🙂 We spend a lot of time reading to our girls, quality time is what it’s all about. 🙂 So we picked up books for all to enjoy as well.
Once the girls picked out their FROZEN treasures, we checked out and then stopped by the Subway, conveniently located, right in our local Wal-Mart store. The girls each got a Fresh Fit Kids Meal and included in that was more Disney FROZEN merchandise! The girls were SO excited to keep adding to their day with great things and great fun. Jackpot!!
Home we went to start the fun. We sat down and had a lunch together, just girls 🙂 While they were eating, we opened up all the fun we just purchased and began to play shortly after the lunch was done. My little Preslee has slept with her Toddler doll Anna every day since receiving her. She’s SO adorable!
That night, Dad came home and got to spend a little one on one time with our middle daughter, reading one of the books that we picked up earlier in the day.
We did see FROZEN the movie too. I can’t take the time to describe it here, but see my other post with details on why I loved it so much!
Before I go, there is a #FrozenFun Twitter party scheduled for THIS Friday, 12/20 at 1:00 EST. There is going to be $1250 in prizes with 30 winners! View the rules and how you can participate HERE.
All in all, it was such a fabulous day! What would you do to create a magical FROZEN time with your little ones…be they boys or girls or a combination? Do you see anything in the pictures of the Walmart toys that your little one(s) would love to have?
