Alright, let me confess, I did NOT get rid of my old cloth diapers that I used with my other two kids.  I was keeping them forever, right?  I did not know I was going to have another baby.  Since my littlest is 5 years old now, the beginning of the year when we moved, I didn’t know what I was going to do with them.  I couldn’t get rid of them or sell them, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.  You other cloth diaperers know what I talking about.

Going thru my stash, I knew I was going to need some new ones though.  I was so excited when Buttons cloth diapers contacted us to check out their diapers.  I had not heard of this brand before and was excited to see what they were about.

I have always only used pocket cloth diapers.  ONE SIZE!  You know the ones that go from newborn to toddler with one diaper.  Love that!  When I researched a bit more on Buttons diapers, I decided to try them out. They sent me three diapers and some really great colors.  I got the charming which is the orange and turquoise chevron. So cute! The peony which is a hot pink color and the Posy, that is my favorite, with swirls and hearts on it.

Buttons’ is an easy to use two-in-one system. Their one-size diaper covers can snap to fit babies from 9-35 lbs, and are made of two layers of soft wipeable PUL with double gussets around the legs. Their snap-in diaper inserts are soft and absorbent, and come in two sizes.  These soft, leak-proof, and durable diaper covers come in so many fun colors and patterns.  The double-gussets around the legs keeps the mess in, so your little one can run, jump, climb, and sleep while your mind is at ease. The elastic at the back and tummy makes for a custom fit.

New to cloth diapering, I think Buttons diapers would be a great one to start with.  It is such an easy system you can’t go wrong.  Being seasoned with cloth diapers, I am excited to use these with the new one.  I love trying out different types.  I love how the insert just snaps right into the cover, this is something I have never seen before.  It is such a great idea so it doesn’t slide around and get all bunched up while on your child.

I definitely encourage you to look into cloth diapering. Not only does it save on the budget, it is enviromentally friendly.  These diapers start at $11.00. You can’t beat that. Plus, check out the two new prints that came out. They are oh so cute. Meet Meadow and Sherwood!!
