This post features JOHNSON’S® brand products I was given, as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. I’m sharing some knowledge, ideas and stories I’ve learned along the way. All opinions are my own! #johnsonspartners
I don’t know about you, but I think it’s just oh. so. cool. when I see my hubby interacting with my girls in the everyday situations. You know, like prepping their food, bed time, bath time, etc. It simply warms my heart. Since I’m home with the girls, I just do this stuff without thinking. But to watch him do these things makes me happy. It’s funny though. When taking to my girlfriends, I’m not alone. We have this recurring theme, they do things WRONG. Yes, I said wrong. It’s all entirely different than how we do it.
And because it’s wrong, I think it’s totally RIGHT! That’s why life is so cool, we all do things a little differently, yet the job always gets done. So, as my friends are all expecting their first little ones, I put together a Dad’s on duty box. Something that can be gifted to the new “dad-to-be”, filled with essentials.
For this time’s baby gift, I lucked out and was able to fill it with the NEW on Target shelves, decor bottles from JOHNSON’S®. I mean, how cool are these!??! JOHNSON’S® has released a fun and trendy line of limited edition Circo designer bottles. And, like I said, these are only sold exclusively at Target and Target.com!
These will go SO well with many nursery decor layouts, look great in the bath time routine and/or looks flashy throughout bedtime routine.
And imagine, how neat are these to gift ALONE for any new mom!
All right, well, let’s get back to the Dad gift. We pick out random stuff that all Dads use, and use regularly…with a few NEW additions. Just like the new addition they will soon receive in their baby! The baby bath time and after bath items. At least the dad receiving this one will have fashion in their tubs when baby arrives!
We added the fun and original things that most dad’s use. We have some…
- trail mix
- squirter toys
- a bath time fishing pole
- a bath cup to pour on the baby to rinse it’s head
- stink bags and air freshener for when the baby
- earplugs, need I say more?
- jerky
- pretzels
- hooded bath towels and washcloths
- and more!
What would YOU include in a Dad to Be gift….for a first time dad? If you had to create something like this, what would you add that I missed. Help me out!
As always, keep on reading! It’s a fun year of featuring the MANY uses of JOHNSON’S® brand baby products. What have YOU thoughts so far?
