excalibur :: dehydrate your food

I always remember when I was growing up, how my mom would always have dehydrated fruit. I loved it as a kid.

Having that memory, I wanted to share that with my son. Excalibur was gracious enough to send me one of the 5-tray small dehydrators. This dehydrator is very large. I was shocked at how much fits in it. I have only used 3 of the trays so far because I didn’t buy enough to fit all 5 trays.

This dehydrator is very easy to use. Just fill up the trays and set the timer and let it go. Super easy.

I have also have son that is a very picky eater, so I thought that being able to dehydrate some foods he wouldn’t normally eat would help. So I am very excited to try different foods with the dehydrator. I also love the fact that you can do fruit leather with it. My son loves fruit leather, so making my own will be great.
