Dino Dan is a boy who loves dinosaurs. Not only does he love them, he can see them! Every episode brings new adventures with Dan involved in common kid situations(like playing with your sibling or going to the dentist) and he wonders how dinos would act in a similar situation. Dan comes up with a hypothesis and uses science and context clues to test his theories (which came in really handy when we were learning about scientific method)! Not every theory is correct and when that happens he has to find a new way. I love that my kids are not only learning about science and dinosaurs but also about not giving up if things don’t work out the first time.
Dino Dan also has a pretty fancy website that we’ve been playing on quite a bit, too. It has tons of cool games and opportunities for your little paleontologists to explore, play, and even look for dinosaur bones on their own.
