I remember getting advice shortly after having my son about thinking about what you are wearing when you are going to be out for the day if you plan to nurse. I also remember hearing a story from a friend about her first time out to church for the morning with her new baby. She left the service and headed into the nursery to feed her little one and then realized the top of the dress surely didn’t have enough give to pull down to nurse, so the only other way was lifting the dress from the bottom. She recalled being somewhat embarrassed and feeling like she had to half undress in front of the sweet ladies in the nursery.
There are a lot of clothes out there that make breastfeeding convenient. Milk Nursingwear has beautiful shirts, dresses, and more that make nursing easy and discreet. I received the black cocktail nursing dress and love that I have the option to wear something a little dressier while making nursing easy and truly discreet. While the dress is called a cocktail dress, I also love that it is one of those dresses that can go causal or dressy.
The nursing dress from Milk has an opening in the top of the dress so you don’t have to wrestle with your clothes or pull up the whole top revealing your back and stomach. These tops and dresses also are convenient for pumping at work. Milk carries many other dresses and nursing tops too! I am thankful for stylish options that help nursing be a little easier without looking like you are wearing something different. Styles like these from Milk can help moms stay comfortable and feel confident while nursing.
