We made lovely family memories at Disney on Ice. Feld Entertainment puts together a wonderful show and experience. We haven’t been to a Disney on Ice show in about 5 years! It’s really a shame that we let those years slip by. We always have such a good time. Learn from my mistake and take your family to a show near you! Pssst….I’ll share a coupon code at the end of this post to help make it more affordable.
We don’t live very close to a venue {because of dreadful Bay Area traffic} so we had to leave our house at 4:30 to make the 7 p.m. show. It was 11:15 p.m. when we rolled into our driveway. The kids were zonked in the car and I’ll admit I was a bit worn out myself. I share all of that to tell you, it was worth it! Our 3 year old went bonkers over each new character that came out on the ice. My sleepy heads woke up just enough to stumble in the house and then my youngest came alive. All he wanted to do was talk about the show some more. It made my heart happy to see the joy that our evening brought his little life.
Speaking of joy, everyone should have an Aunt Joy in their life. We asked my husband’s favorite aunt (okay, she’s his only aunt) and a cousin to join us at Disney on Ice. She hates getting her picture taken, but I have documentation she was there. (Sorry for the bad low light photographs.) Every time I turned around, Aunt Joy was putting cotton candy or Olaf filled snow cone cups in the kids hands. She spoiled us rotten…as rotten as our teeth will be after all our treats. You will have to bring your own Aunt Joy, we aren’t sharing ours.
Aunt Joy hadn’t been to a Disney on Ice show since her girls were little (25 years) and she shared with me what a fun time it was to be there again. Grab the grandparents, aunties, your favorite little people, and fill your life with a memorable night at Disney on Ice. This particular show will have characters that the whole family will love. Boys and girls will be excited to see Toy Story, Frozen, Cars, Ariel and more.
If you missed the previous posts about the show, here is a bit of info:
