As you know by now I love fall! This is a simple DIY Fabric Apple that anyone can make! It is so stinking cute! These cuties were made using my matching place setting napkins so they match my handmade drapes perfectly! This is an easy and cheap way to add some pizzazz to your home. I put one apple in my bookcase and the other one on my dining room table! On my dinning room table I also added two cans one for colored pencils and the other for crayons that match my fabric perfectly.
Supplies ::
- A roll of toilet paper
- Napkin or fabric of choice
- Stick
- Ribbon or burlap fabric
Step 1 :: Once you find the fabric or napkin you plan to use for your apple lay it flat, and place the roll of toilet paper on it in the center.
Step 2 :: Now take a corner and tuck it into the center of the toilet paper roll. Then take the next corner and tuck it and so on until all the corners are tucked into the pumpkin. Some areas may need a little extra attention to fold it a specific way to get it to lay better after it has been tucked. I assure you, you will get the hang of it.
Step 3 :: Once your fabric is tucked into your apple you can tie your ribbon or strip of burlap fabric to your branch. My branch is probably about 2 1/2 inches long and maybe 1/2 and inch in thickness.
Step 4 :: Last tuck your stem into the center of your toilet paper roll, and make sure the ribbon or fabric is sticking up like two leaves!
I told you this was a SIMPLE DIY! Now go decorate your home for the holidays with these adorable fabric apples!
Would you use this apple in your home?
