Are you looking for something fun for your little ones to watch that won’t drive you completely nuts this Winter? Well, look no further. I have it for you today! On today’s DVD review we have Dora’s Royal Rescue. It includes a double-length, never-before-aired episode, “Dora’s Royal Rescue,” which features the voices of Andy Garcia as Don Quixote and Placido Domingo as Malambruno. Also included, is the new-to-DVD episode, “Dora’s Knighthood Adventure,” which features the voice of Garcia as Don Quixote. In addition, for a limited time only, kids can enjoy a free Dora coloring and activity book.
We haven’t been watching much television around here because we are trying to stay busy around the house doing learning activities or playing outside while we still can. However, when we received this in the mail, Adalynn wanted “rest time” to be with Dora that day. In this episode you will find Dora doing what she does best…solving “mysteries” as Adalynn calls it. It’s yet another fun and engaging episode featuring the beloved Dora.
Join Lady Knight Dora in a double-length adventure, as she and her faithful squire Boots embark on a noble quest to help Rocinante the Horse save his knight, Don Quixote (voiced by Andy Garcia), who has been locked in Story Castle by the mean Malambruno (voiced by Placido Domingo)! They must dance past a giant spider and overcome windmills to rescue Don Quixote.
In addition to the above stated, double-length adventure, there is Dora’s Knighthood Adventure.
Dora, Boots, Rocinante the horse, and Dapple the donkey go on a heroic adventure to rescue a princess so they can become knights just like Don Quixote (voiced by Andy Garcia).
All in all, another score for Nickelodeon. For all those that don’t have cable can can’t get Dora the Explorer, here is your solution! Win-Win.
