It’s so refreshing to see the movies I remember as a kid being released again, but this time in blu-ray as well as DVD. I now have the opportunity to share a lot of these with my kids. Watching this again, (it’s been over 15 years since I have seen it), brought me back to when my sister and I would watch this with our parents. Another very cool thing about all these movies being re-done and brought back…nostalgic memories.
Adalynn is completely intrigued by E.T., however I haven’t let her see it yet. I just am not sure how she would react. It is a little “out there” for a 3 year old in my opinion. Lili isn’t sure yet what to think 🙂 They are a little young to enjoy this, in my opinion, but I have other friends who’s little ones watch it and enjoy it completely.
Another fun thing, I love seeing Drew Barrymore from before and compare to how much she has grown. Fun 🙂
Relive the adventure and magic in one of the most beloved motion pictures of all-time, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, from Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg. Captivating audiences of all ages, this timeless story follows the unforgettable journey of a lost alien and the 10-year-old boy he befriends. Join Elliott (Henry Thomas), Gertie (Drew Barrymore) and Michael (Robert MacNaughton) as they come together to help E.T. find his way back home. Now digitally remastered with enhanced picture and sound for its 30th Anniversary, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial is “one of the great American films” (Leonard Maltin) that forever belongs in the hearts and minds of audiences everywhere.
Many bonus features are included on this Blu-ray Combo Pack. Adds to the fun if the kids want to learn more (or us adults too for behind the scenes looks and Interviews!)
