eating her first food with origin utensil + a giveaway
It’s so fun to see your child hit each milestone. It’s hard to wait for her to reach milestones when I see other baby’s reaching them at the same age. I was just talking with someone the other day about how miss C isn’t sitting up just yet, or that great at rolling over and how I was totally okay with it. I realized this is my last child and I just want to keep her young as much as I can. Her getting to her milestones is so rewarding.
Is this how you felt when you could start feeding your child their first foods? It is so much fun trying to chose what you would want to be their first. I, sort of, made it a big deal on my end and had to get all prepared for it.

Now, that you are all prepared, it’s time to see what she thinks. We are featuring a different type of spoon as well during her first taste of food. While, most would think using the common silicone or plastic spoon is the best, take a look at this pretty cool spoon we got to try out from Origin Utensil.
First, a little about this amazing spoon, then on to the good stuff, her reaction! This modern, ergonomic utensil is designed for your best food performances. It is 100% food grade stainless steel, that is designed and made in the USA. It is a one-piece stainless steel construction that is safe and stays clean. I love that it is highly polished, with ultra-smooth edges to ensure comfortable feedings for your baby. The thick handle provides excellent griping for self-feeding. Plus, anything that is dishwasher safe, is amazing.
The best part about feeding your baby their first foods is the reaction. You wait the anticipation if they are going to like it or not. And, the facial expressions are just comical sometimes. Baby C is 6 months now and our first food is avocado. It was fun to see her reaction and try out this new spoon. She didn’t seem to mind the spoon and it felt smooth and perfect when feeding her.
It’s fun to see how many times you can put in the same bite. I got to capture a little video of it so you could see the spoon in action!
What do you think of this utensil? What’s your favorite part about feeding your baby their first food?
