I have come to accept that I am a mom and I’m going to look like a mom. I’m not quite as cool as “Bevvy Goldberg”, but I try to keep up with the latest trends. By the way, she is my all-time favorite TV mom. When my husband says, “whatever you say, Beverly.”, I realize he’s trying to tell me to take it down a notch, but I’m totally complimented.

I stumbled on Eshakti through a Facebook ad. This navy blue and white dress caught my eye and I had to have it! I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could afford it, it was age appropriate for me, and it’s customizable! I am tall and dresses often fall in the ‘no zone’ for me. They are too short or hit that awkward mid-calf spot. I also like dresses that allow me to pick up kids, move around, and they have to be washable. Ding, ding, ding! This dress is a winner.

Lets talk sizing. They have an easy to read size chart. I fell between the 6 and the 8. I went with the 8 and I was glad because it allowed me to wash and dry it without it getting too snug. I hope that helps you if you are stuck between two sizes. My dress fits perfectly. I had them add some length to get it below my knee, I opted for no pockets, and I chose the cap sleeve. The ordering process was easy peasy.

I’m not the fashionista like Shannon is on the blog, but I found I could change the dress up with my own belts, ribbons, sweaters, etc. This has been a really versatile dress. It is casual enough to wear to church, but with the right accessories it’s a really cute dress for a wedding or special occasion.
