We were just about to start school here with Michaela this year and I was dreading the thought of possibly having to decontaminate from a lice outbreak at school when Fairy Tales Hair Care contacted me. Every time I use any of the Rosemary Repel® Shampoo, Conditioner, Leave-In Conditioning Spray, or Gel on Michaela I smile. I just love the smell!
While all the products are wonderful (seriously, we like them all) I’m the biggest fan of the Leave-In Conditioning Spray. Every morning before school I make sure to spray Michaela’s hair it. She smells fantastic, her fly-away frizzies are tamed, and I feel like I’m making a pro-active effort to keep the bugs away.
Fairy Tales Hair Care is an excellent resource for information on how to prevent and treat lice outbreaks. They also just released a FREE iPhone app called The Facts of Lice. This app is full of information on the prevention and removal of lice, but the shining star of its attributes is the fact that you can use it to learn where there have been reported head lice outbreaks! You can even report an outbreak to the app to help warn other parents!
As unpleasant as it may be to think about preventing head lice, I think the actual process of dealing with an outbreak is much, much worse. That’s why I’ll be using Fairy Tales Hair Care lice prevention products this school year with my kiddos. I don’t want to even imagine using a lice comb on all that hair…
