Anything Disney is a winner in our house. Recently, we learned that there have been some GREAT new releases and I would be remiss if I didn’t share them ALL with you! I mean, heck, these are some phenomenal stocking stuffers if your little ones love Disney like ours do!

ELENA OF AVALOR: READY TO RULE ::
This is one series that my girls are really enjoying. We didn’t start off watching this, but when it’s on, they always want to keep it on!

Set in the enchanted fairytale land of Avalor, “Elena of Avalor” tells the story of Elena, a brave and adventurous teenager who has saved her kingdom from an evil sorceress and must now learn to rule as crown princess until she is old enough to be queen. Elena’s journey leads her to understand that her new role requires thoughtfulness, resilience and compassion, the traits of all truly great leaders.

PETE’S DRAGON ::
I recall watching this over and over and over when I was a kid. Well, not this exact version of the movie, but nonetheless, the Pete’s Dragon as a whole.

Pete’s Dragon, a reimagining of Disney’s cherished family film centered on an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliot, who just so happens to be a dragon. We didn’t see this one in theaters, so I was thrilled when it came out on DVD.

Melissa Mathison: A Tribute – An homage to Melissa Mathison, the extraordinary, Oscar®-nominated screenwriter of “The BFG” and “E.T.,” whose talent and heart were as immense as the giants in “The BFG.”
