Early Spring is a strange time of year weather-wise where we live. After months of grey and gloom we will suddenly have beautiful sunny days, but the temps are still frequently below freezing and the winds might just blow you to Oz. This may seem like torture to my stir crazy children (and the momma who is stuck inside with them) so with this in mind I like to keep crafts and games on hand for my kids to be entertained inside just in case the weather isn’t as cooperative as it may look.

eeBoo Spring Chain making
Every year one of the first Christmas decorations to go up, and the last to come down, is our eeBoo Holiday Chain. It has been such a well-loved way to add cheer to our house that we now have between 2-3 sets being used each season and my kids just having that paper chain stretched across our living room ceiling.

This Spring I’m excited to let them use eeBoo’s new Spring Chain full of fun seasonally themed colors and illustrations. From hedgehogs and butterflies, to flowers and snails, each of these paper chain papers are amazingly easy to assemble and there is no glue needed!

eeBoo Go Fish! playing
While eeBoo’s card games are not new, they are new to our family and I will say they were an instant hit. Go Fish! is an easy game to teach even young children and one of the first games each of my kids learned to play. eeBoo’s Go Fish! is a color based game where each of the adorably fish-shaped cards are a different solid color. The cards come with a sturdy box that contains a drawer for storage (all very well constructed) and I have already ordered a couple of their other card games to have on hand for Easter Basket filling in a few short weeks.

Great ideas, right now there’s food policy at my son school due to many allergies, so we can’t give any food for treats

I love the idea of putting non-candy in the baskets. I think the children will like having something that they can play with later. Thank you for ideas.

What a cute Go Fish game and a great way for a young child to learn colors!
