It all started with a little teaser…
My husband and I are big on low technology, yet, in today’s day and age, it’s hard to skip. So, with that in mind, when we learn about cool and safe things that involve technology that are kids can safely use, we dig deeper. That’s what I’ve found out with Furby Connect. Safe and TOTALLY fun. Do you remember playing with Furby when you were younger? Well folks, it’s a whole new world now!
How would you like to take an adorable Furby and mash it together with a smart phone app, available on iPhone, iPad and Android devices? Enter…Furby Connect.He/She (whatever you name him/her) is a magical new friend for your little ones to play and imagine with. He creates surprises around every corner when playing with him, and the kids just love it! He interacts back with songs, eye and body movements, changes in eye colors/shapes and more!
Not only is he adorable, but there is an app that works along with him, like I mentioned above. My daughters have had a lot of fun with this interaction, they have a hard time grasping the fact that the app and the Furby Connect “talk” to each other. With the cool Bluetooth®-enabled app, FURBY CONNECT World, this is all possible! They also love the adventure that awaits in the app and the little “furblings” that they can hatch.
Two more quick notes, and then click over and get one of your own. I needed to mention these though, because they are GREAT features! When you use Furby Connect, and do the song lyrics feature/area/app section (whatever YOU want to call it), the kids are going to freak when they see the little guy move along and learn. Plus, watching the “movie theater” section with your kids will light up their eyes too. The other thing that’s just great is being able to interact with the virtual food, earning gifts and all these other pretty great things. It’s a very user friendly app, there are arrows and pointed fingers. I sat with my kids at first, but they picked it up quickly and no longer needed me. Heck, they probably NEVER needed me LOL!
You guys, so fun! Even our dog is intrigued…
What do YOU think? Is this something that will be under the tree at you house this Christmas? Is ti already on your kids’ wish list? Talk to me!
