I love jelly beans. Small, sweet, soft and delicious, they are a joy to behold. Now I am here today to tell you that Gimbal’s Fine Candies has perfected the art of the jelly bean. Their Holiday Mix is Christmas in a bag. Each one has six fun flavors, including Rudolph’s Rockin’ Raspberry, Mrs. Claus’s Cool Coconut, and Awesome Apple Crisp. My kiddos insisted on having a taste-testing party so we could each decide which we liked best. We made a little pile of each of the six varieties and tried them one at a time so we could all give our honest opinion. Well, they are truly all delish and unique in their own way, but we were each able to choose a favorite. My daughter and I both LOVED St. Nick’s Cinnamon Spice (it has just the right amount of kick to it!) and my son couldn’t get enough of the Ho-Ho Holiday Punch. My 1 year-old seemed to enjoy whatever flavor we gave her and couldn’t narrow it down to just one. The colors are festive and the flavors are delicious when eaten one at a time or in a handful.
These delicious jelly beans are made with real fruit juice and are gluten free, peanut free and dairy free. Here is my favorite part: the serving size is 37 jellybeans and only has 140 calories and 0 grams of fat. Now I figure you can eat 6 of each flavor and then have one final bite of your own personal favorite! These jelly beans are the perfect addition to those final holiday parties of the year. Available at your local Meijer, Rite Aid, or Walmart, grab a bag or two while you still can!

December 27, 2013 at 2:44 pmThese sound super yummy! Jelly beans are a favorite in my house and I’m always looking for items that are made with real fruit juice (these can be far and few in between as far as candy goes). Also LOVE that they are gluten free!
