fresh beat band: wizard of song {new to dvd}

If you have young children, finish the following statement for me…

“Get the beat. (get the beat)! The ____ ____ ____!”

Now forgive me for getting that song in your head for the remainder of the day 🙂

Here is a fantastic little kids show that I don’t mind one big.  And when I heard they were coming out with a DVD, I knew I would be super mom if I could get my hands on it.  Well, I did…and I was. 🙂

Coming this Tuesday, (August 14, 2012), you can be the hero to your little one who loves The Fresh Beat Band too.  Join The Fresh Beat Band crew, Kiki, Marina, Shout and Twist in Fresh Beat Band: The Wizard Of Song (and other episodes).

In the title episode, Marina gets swept up into a windstorm and lands in Oz where she meets Glinda the Good Witch played by Sarah Chalke (Scrubs), befriends a Scarecrow (Twist), a Tin Woods-Woman (Kiki), and a Lion (Shout).  They set off on a journey to find the Wizard of Song (Jason Mraz) so he can help Marina get back home.  In addition, preschoolers can enjoy two bonus episodes from the hit live-action series.

There are two other episodes as well, Chimps in Charge and Ghost Band.

I’m not sure what else I can tell you to persuade you to check out The Fresh Beat Band outside of what I have already told you.  My favorite parts of their episodes are the teamwork and friendship scenarios that play out in every episode.  Can’t ever get enough of that these days, can we?  Check them out, thank me later. 🙂
