Fresh Wave is no stranger on this blog. I’ve been enjoying their products and getting helpful feedback on fighting odors for quite some time. They’ve gone above and beyond to help me with tough odors. They even consulted their chemist for me! I’d like to think we aren’t the only family that has such stinky situations that we need to get the help of a chemist, but I’ll own it…we did.
Fresh Wave not only has a new look to their packaging, but you can find a few of their products exclusively at Target! Now you have no excuses not to try these products, don’t we all shop at Target?
Odor Removing Spray
A new product you have to try is the Odor Removing Spray. Here’s what their website has to say about it:
Spray away odors like you mean it. Don’t cover them up! Our spray can be used on clothing, pet bedding, backpacks, sports gear, shoes and trash cans. Just to name a few. “How?” you ask. Just shake. Spray. Smile. For stronger odors, a few more spritzes will do the trick. When you smell “fresh air,” it’s working. Really. It’s that easy. (Hint: For special materials, like silk, try a little test to avoid water spotting.)
Here’s how I have used it:
- Toddler sandals
- Stinky slippers
- Sour milk smell after a spill on the couch
- Garage sale find that smelled like smoke
- Around the base of our toilet (we must have a bad seal)
Odor Removing Packs
So basically I used these packs all over the place. They are in my car, in our dresser drawers, next to the trash can, in the bathroom, and always in the diaper bag. I got an awesome tip from the Fresh Wave experts when I had a diaper bag with a mystery odor. They suggested I bag it up in a trash bag over night with the odor removing packs. Those are magical odor busting packs. My diaper bag was good as new by morning.
Laundry Additive
This is bonus material in this post: I have been trying out the Fresh Wash Laundry Additive for the past few months. I simply add 2-4 capfuls to my stinky loads of laundry in addition to my regular detergent. This is a 2 in 1 product by the way! It not only eliminates the smells that come along with stinky gym clothes and wet towels, but it also gets rid of those musty washer odors.
I had a few shirts with permanent body odor in the pits. I was ready to toss them, but I thought I would give this laundry additive a try. These were super nasty smelling shirts so I poured the laundry additive directly onto the underarms of the shirts and let it sit for a bit before I threw them in the washer. I saved 2 shirts this past week! The BO is gone. I probably should have done a color-safe test on the fabric, but I felt pretty confident using it directly on the shirts because A) I was going to throw them out because they permanently stunk and B) Fresh Wave products are safe and non-toxic. It’s made with water and natural extracts of lime, pine needle, aniseed, clove and cedar wood.
I don’t want to knock ebreezefe (pig latin), but that just covers up odors. Fresh Wave products neutralize odors. That’s why I believe it is the most effective way to be #happyhealthyodorfree.

September 28, 2015 at 3:12 pmmy biggest fight has been a musty smelling downstairs bedroom. we recently discovered the reason for it. /a long standing slow leak between the floors & in the walls from the kitchen drain! it was improperly installed over 40 years ago. I would love to give the spray a chance to fight & kill this long over do smell.
thanks for a winning chance. In the meantime I will stop at my local Target!
