I love to kickstart my day with smoothies. It’s the perfect way to get a few good servings of fruits and vegetables right away and the only way I’ve found to get close to the up-to 9 servings a day recommended. But I have to admit, trimming kale, coring pineapple and peeling mangoes aren’t really things I want to do every day. By the time I’ve prepped my fruits and veggies, measured my liquids and made my smoothie, I’ve usually spent about 10 minutes–and I still have to clean up all of the stems, peels and cores. It’s worth it to start my day right, but I have found a better way–a much better way. Fruitera ready-to-blend smoothies.
Fruitera has formulated delicious, super healthy and completely organic smoothies. They have done all of the chopping, peeling and measuring and they ship this goodness straight to your door. All you have to do is add water and blend. It’s so easy my kids can even make themselves the perfect after school snack without any help from me and without making a mess! It doesn’t get much better than that!
Fruitera smoothie flavors change monthly, so this month I was able to enjoy the kale kicker, chia charger and mango lassi. I was so impressed with the simple, high quality ingredients (all organic and no added sugar here!). The smoothies were still completely frozen when they arrived at my door, so I just popped them in my freezer (okay, I had to take one out to try right away) and we were ready to go the next morning. Since all Fruitera smoothies are organic, gluten-free, nut-free, preservative-free and have no added sugar, I feel good about feeding them to my family.
Let’s chat price for a minute. At first glance, Fruitera smoothies seem a bit expensive. However, keep in mind that even when you make your own smoothies, they are expensive. Purchasing high quality, organic fruits and vegetables costs a lot of money! And when you think of how much produce goes into one smoothie (and how much super nutrition you can pack into a meal) and how long you spend shopping and chopping, I consider Fruitera to be reasonably-priced.
Not only do I love having delicious smoothies on hand for my own family, but I think Fruitera smoothies would make the perfect gift for a new mom. It’s so challenging to go grocery shopping, make meals and nourish your body when you are taking care of a new baby. What a gift it would be to have some super nutritious breakfasts and snacks sent right to your door!

November 2, 2015 at 1:20 pmThis is an awesome idea! I love smoothies, but as you noted, all the chopping, peeling, etc., means I don’t make the kind of smoothies I really want. Think of the health benefits – it would make an excellent gift!

May 12, 2015 at 3:36 pmAwesome idea, you can save more the more you commit to. But love they offer a sample pack to try out for $39.00. Love the convenience and how easy they are to blend together. Health in a glass.

May 10, 2015 at 10:31 amI wonder how much this costs because I would love to have organic smoothies delivered to my home! I would find this a lot easier to do in the morning when I am rushing around to get ready before work! I think I would love to try the Mango Lassi!

May 8, 2015 at 9:24 amThis is quite an interesting way to make a smoothie, I’ve never hear of this delivered. I’ve seen the chopped cups of fresh produce in a cup ready to be blended but not anything like this.
