Whether you need new books to add to the Summer Reading Club lists or you’re steadily working to get those 1000 Books Before Kindergarten done (more abut that HERE), here are a couple more great reads from our friends at Sleeping Bear Press to add to your book bag.
A Horse Named Jack :: is a fun book about a horse named Jack who loves to have children visit him on the farm. When a day comes that does not bring visitors to play Jack escapes the barn and goes on an adventure. The rhyming story of Jack’s adventures were written by Linda Vander Heyden and are accompanied by fun illustrations from Petra Brown. Ages 0-4 years
Grandpa Loves You! :: there is something special about the relationship between a grandpa and their grandchild and I love how wonderfully this book captures that bond! Formatted just like the other books in the series from the writing and illustrating duo of Helen Foster James and Petra Brown, this book includes a space for a letter from Grandpa to their little munchkin as well as space for a photo to be included. Since the book was not a gift from a grandparent to a child in our house we decided to use the space to add extra photos and give all our kiddos a chance to have a Grandpa & Me photo in their book. Ages Birth and up.
We have so many Sleeping Bear Press books that we love to have on our shelves and in our hands to read. What are your family favorites?
