To start this post I would like to announce that I no longer have any children in diapers. Oh yes. Goodbye diapers, changing table, Diaper Genie and all the rest of your diaper-related friends! Ahhh… it’s a lovely feeling.
For months I had put off toilet training for child #2 fearing the worse. I loathe cleaning carseats (and cars) when those type of accidents occur and wanted to make sure I could set aside a solid block of days to get potty training in. When I couldn’t put it off any longer I made the switch and my 1 day potty training wonder was accident free on Potty Training Day 2!
I could lie and say there were no more accidents, but well… that would be a lie. Accidents will still happen and knowing this I am very glad to be using Training Pants from Gerber Childrenswear!
The Training Pants from Gerber Childrenswear look and fell like regular underwear for my newly diaper-free child. To a discerning mom though there is a very important difference – the Gerber Childrenswear Training Pants have an absorbent interlining.
This cotton panel is only slightly thicker than most underwear and isn’t really noticeable to my 27-month-old daughter. Noticeable to her older (and I’d like to think wiser) momma is the fact that this little “extra” provides some important protection. This has saved us more than once from having little accidents become BIG accidents.
These comfy machine washable Training Pants are easy for little hands to pull up and down on their own. Plus they’re tag-free, 100% cotton, have a covered waistband, and are meant to be reused! Another great thing to note is that the 2-packs go down to size 18 Months, which is an EXTREMELY hard to find size for kids underwear.
