get colorful with crayola’s back to school line :: review

I absolutely love early elementary “Back To School” shopping lists!

Yes, of course we had a few more items on our BTS shopping list this year (backpacks, shoes, lunch boxes), but I was pumped to find that 90% of our Back To School shopping happened in just one section — The Crayola section!!!

We love Crayola in our house. All those fun colors and products and, well, let’s just say it…WASHABLE!

With two girls in elementary school this year, our Crayola haul was quite extensive this year. But here are a few of my favorites:

 

for the big kids ::

I was somewhat surprised to find Dry Erase Markers on Abbi’s “need” list this year but was then pleasantly surprised to see that Crayola carries their very own Dry-Erase line! Abbi is going to love the vibrant colors of the Crayola Washable Dry-Erase Markers, while I’m going to continue to love that washable feature!

Your big kids are also going to love Crayola’s Wild Notes collection! I actually had to hide Abbi’s Wild Notes Notebook until school starts because I knew she’d be using it every day if I’d let her! While it looks like a regular notebook, once your child starts writing in it with the Wild Notes Pen, they’ll be in awe of the fun colors that appear! Practicing math and writing has never been so fun! Oh, and check out the Wild Notes Neon Journal and Wild Notes Black Journal for even more fun!

 

for the little kids ::

Crayola’s Twistable Crayons are a must-have for us! Zoe will be doing a lot of “coloring” page homework in Kindergarten and it’s so nice to not worry about sharpening those crayons all the time for her. The Twistable Crayons give her a nice coloring tip and I’m not finding pieces of crayon papers all over the house!

Of course another must-have are the Crayola Markers! Again, hello Washable Markers! But I also think these Washable Tri-Color Markers are really, really fun and Kindergartners are going to love them! They create a fun multi-color effect because each marker has three different colors bundled together!

 

for the home ::

I couldn’t let the kids have all the fun at school! So for our home “homework” kit, we’re stocked with the SuperTips Washable Marker Kit! Twenty-five colorful markers with versatile tips that allow kids to draw thin or thick lines, all in a portable carrying case!! And….you guessed it….washable!
