Welcome to the season of candy, cookies, treats, and freezing blustery cold. This leads to a couple problems in our house, specifically an unbalance in the ratio of sugar intake and energy output for my kids.
Personally, I am not a fan of the cold and snow. Living in Michigan this means we have to find creative ways to get the energy out of the kids before the end of the day or I will have an all night party going on in my living room. Enter, The Ohmies and their new release Morning Wish Garden. This was our first experience with The Ohmies, but my girls instantly fell in love with the entire album.
This is an album to listen to where your kiddos have room to move. With a tagline of “Dancing. Stretching. Giggling.” it should be no surprise that The Ohmies focus on the physical health and overall well-being of children.
While there was plenty of dancing, stretching, and giggling from my girls as they listened to all the songs on this fun album that encourages them to move, I will admit that the majority of the giggling came from me as I watched their enthusiastic responses to each song.
With The Ohmies: Morning Wish Garden children ages 2 to 8 will discover their new BFFs – Bailey Butterfly, Carlin Caterpillar, and friends – who take them on a journey to wake up Mr. Sun so that their garden of wishes may grow. Get your kids up and moving with original interACTIVE, world-influenced songs. You’ll fly like a butterfly, hop like a grasshopper, slither like a snake, and shake off the worries. We’ll have so much fun together!
If you too are in need of some creative ways to get the wiggles out this winter the upbeat and movement inspiring tunes found on The Ohmies, Morning Wish Garden album are sure to be a hit with your 3-8 year old.
