getting organized :: inkwell press planners

I am not the most organized person out there! I think I’ve made this confession on here before. I married someone who really couldn’t be more organized if he tried, so we have some balance here in our home. While I do not have a desire to have a color coded closet or spend hours making things more organized, there are a few areas I am seeking to find ways to keep things in better order.
One of those things is our calendar. I usually use my phone to keep track of birthdays, deadlines, important events, and even a to do list, but somehow this isn’t working for me.

I found some amazing products through Inkwell Press, and I have fallen in love with their planners. They are classy and have a great layout and I’ve already enjoyed planning out September as a big picture, and the first couple weeks down to the little details of places to be and things to get accomplished. I love that there are several options to choose from as far as layouts and cover design, but the options aren’t overwhelming either.

A few of my favorite things:
1. Goals! There is a place at each month to write down goals! Goals are huge for me, and lately I’ve been setting them in all areas of life. This planner has places for all that. You can write them down to set monthly, quarterly, and yearly steps to those goals. I’ve written down some personal goals including things regarding finances, health, family, and self!

2. Design. I love the chevron design on the outside and the colorful design on the inside. It is both classic and creative at the same time. It makes me happy to spend sometime sitting down to plan the week and month.
3. Accessories. I just recently took a look at some of the things you can add on to the planner, and I love the stickers and writing utensils! I’m going to put an order in SOON!

I am excited about this new organization venture. I know it doesn’t mean everything will go smoother everyday, but I’ve already seen it help me think through my days and week a little differently! I also know that a planner won’t turn me into someone who keeps everything organized, and it’s not my intent to. Inkwell Press Planners has helped me free up some time as I manage our schedule a little better!
