Last week I shared with you some of fabulous clothing from JoJo Maman Bébé (here). I love the British style with a Breton twist, but I was also so impressed with the quality of the clothing. Soft, fabrics that are comfortable and fashionable. Functional drawstrings. Whimsical patterns. I am already sold on the brand.
And now I’m trying out some outerwear from JoJo Maman Bébé and am even more excited about this brand! Since JoJo Maman Bébé is a UK-based brand, they know wet weather and are most known for their waterproof rain jackets and wellies. But since I live in Michigan, we spend a lot more time in the snow than the rain. So I tried out some winter weather gear. And they clearly know winter weather as well because they thought of everything!
Snowpants are a winter staple here. We wear them daily for sledding, making snowmen, rolling down hills. Imagine dressing your child in the same pair of pants every time they go outside to play. This is pretty much what we do with snowpants. So I need snowpants that keep out the snow, cold and wet. I need snowpants that stay pulled over boots. I need snowpants that can be worn and washed very frequently without falling apart. These snowpants from JoJo Maman Bébé are all of those things and more. Not only are they completely waterproof, but they are also fleece-lined, making them warm and comfortable. The zipper opening at the bottom makes putting boots on a breeze and the stirrup to go around boots keeps the legs in place–essential if you don’t want to end up with snow in your child’s boots!
JoJo Maman Bébé also has so many cute coat options–from reversible puffer jackets to 4-in-1 snow jackets to dressier quilted or duffle options, JoJo Maman Bébé has you covered. Just like their clothing, their reversible jackets manage to have fun prints as well as classic solids. I love the classic look of the duffle coat and love how this staple has been changed up just enough to make it perfect for young kids. Instead of thick, bulky, itchy wool, JoJo Maman Bébé uses lighter weight fabric with padded lining–so it’s both warm and comfortable. The coat zips up but still uses toggles to add to the duffle look. And it’s machine-washable. Yes, please.
