My girls first saw the preview for Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups one day while watching shows together in the afternoon. I heard squeals coming from them as they were calling me to come and see. Last year we saw the first Santa Paws…ummm…lots!
Let’s start off with saying, the story line and characters from the first Santa Paws is NOT the same. I didn’t know this going in to it. Watching it as I was doing something else just confused me. So I sat down with the girls to find out what was going on. After I figured things out, and found out the same storyline was not continued in Santa Paws 2, it was all good. It was a super cute movie, just like the first one.
And yes, my tears flowed in parts of this one too. I’m a sap. My girls laugh…but their tender hearts did well up in their eyes too! 🙂
The North Pole has a new litter of playful pups! However, when the frisky foursome—Hope, Jingle, Charity and Noble—practically destroy Santa’s Workshop with their mischievous gamboling, they realize the best way to prove that they’re responsible enough to become Santa’s Helpers is to show how well they can spread the Christmas spirit all by themselves. With help from a magic crystal, they start granting everyone’s wishes. But their good intentions backfire when one unhappy boy asks that Christmas go away forever! With his wish impetuously fulfilled, and the joyous spirit quickly disappearing from the planet, Mrs. Claus and the pups have to find a way to reverse the spell—or risk losing Christmas forever!
