GoodNites :: bedwetting underwear {giveaway}

Two of my girls are potty trained.  Praise the good Lord above!  I don’t know about you, but potty training is one of those things that I just … don’t look forward to!  It is something that all us parents have to do, so let’s work with the products that we know work, right? So let’s get on with it…

We haven’t had a problem in the past with bed wetting at night with my girls.  However, MANY of my friends have children who do.  They are telling me about it and how they don’t know what to do.  I had the opportunity to use GoodNites® with my daughter as well as do a little research and learn about the company via their website.  What a GREAT website for anyone who is having challenges with bed wetting. Have you heard of or used GoodNites with your kids who have had bed wetting?  I have directed a few of my friends over there for advice already!

We used the GoodNites® diapers and the girls loved how they didn’t look like diapers.  They looked more like their “night night panties”.  That’s what we call them for Adalynn.  Hey, whatever works, right? 🙂  We chose these over training pants.  Here is a little about them:

  • GoodNites® Products are more absorbent than the leading training pants, to help keep pajamas and sheets dry all night.
  • Dry nights mean parents and kids can enjoy an easy night’s sleep and wake up with confidence.
  • GoodNites® Underwear are made to look, feel and sound like real underwear, so kids ages 4 and up will feel good wearing them – plus they’re specially made to protect kids while lying down.
  • Parents can visit GoodNites.com to receive valuable advice and submit a question for the NiteLite™ Panel – a group of pediatricians and parenting experts – that’ll share support for growing kids.

Now, onto the {giveaway}…it’s a good one!  Here is the amazing package, a lot of what “mom and child need for the “limbo” years between “toddlerdom” and childhood”:

  • GoodNites® Product Voucher
  • Skip Hop Backpack
  • Foogo Water Bottle
  • Bob Book
  • Toothbrush and Hand Washing Timer
  • Night Time Chore Cards
  • Kleenex® Splash ‘N Go!® Moist Wipes
  • Bubbles, Crayons, Stickers
  • Movie Passes
  • $100 Amex Gift Card

Fantastic, right?!?!

Be sure to check out the GoodNites® website and do a little research if you are experiencing bed wetting with your little ones.

Do you already use GoodNites® or do you want to give it a shot?  Click HERE and you will be directed to their Promotions section where you can get $1 off a package!

I do think it’s hereditary. My brothers used to wet the bed, as did my husband, and I certainly struggle with this with my 3 year old. He’s still young, but we’re working on dry nights. This would really come in handy.

I like that the site reminds parents you can’t rush nighttime potty training. I had a friend who “punished” her daughter for accidents. It broke my heart! I mean, I have a niece who is 7 and still has accidents at night. Her body just doesn’t tell her it is time to wake up! She’ll get there. No reason to chastise.

I learned that one reason bedwetting can become a more urgent issue for girls is that girls tend to start having sleepovers at younger ages than boys, says Dr. Friman. This brings up the embarrassment or worry factor on the part of a young girl that she may have an accident.

As a youngster I used a similar product to goodnights when attending sleepovers. It was nice to feel secure that I wouldn’t wake up with embarrassing wetness. My Mom was really easy going about the whole thing. Bed wetting goes away at it’s own pace. I hope to be as understanding about it as my Mom was if my kids experience this. Awesome giveaway!!

I had bed-wetting issues as a kid, and I learned this is genetic. My father had issues with it as well, so I am prepared to deal with this as an issue with my son. Thanks for the chance to win!

I learned that you can ask the parenting and medical experts about products, causes, and practical advice and they will have answers for you.

My experience I’ve had with bed wetting is that my daughter who is 6 years old was sleeping with me in my bed. I woke up with something wet underneath my feet. I didn’t know what was going on being half asleep. There was a huge circle where my daughter wet the bed. She has been wearing goodnights every since. The doctor says she should grow out of it and it’s from her having deep sleep but I’ve heard that it can last until your older.

We haven’t had a lot of bedwetting with our 3 year old, but on that rare occasion, we’ve been able to correlate it with some change in his schedule or additional stress. I’ve found that interesting.
