Last year I was Johnny on the spot about ordering my Christmas cards. This year, not so much. Which would have been fine, if only I’d actually made a list of who needed to be sent cards ahead of time this year. My list had grown but my order did not. You can imagine the last minute problem this created for me.

Greeting Card Universe to the rescue!!! I was so excited when on the SAME DAY that I realized my mistake an opportunity came to me to try out Greeting Card Universe. Their opening pitch line of “There is still time to order your holiday cards!! It’s not too late at Greeting Card Universe!” definitely caught my attention!

So, on Friday night well after my kids and husband were fast asleep I went online and picked out cards to order. On Saturday at 1 PM I received a Shipping Confirmation message. SHIPPING CONFIRMATION?!? It was a weekend and they were shipping my order out? Awesome!

My husband is mailing this one directly to his cousin tomorrow so it arrives in time for Festivus.

But the ultimate excitement and surprise came when my cards actually arrived on Monday. My jaw dropped in disbelief and complete amazement. I know that Greeting Card Universe had said that they could deliver in time, but I never expected it to actually happen in less than even a single business day.

Oh yeah, and they have a very extensive collection of card choices. Need a card for your Grandpa? They’ve got it. How about your Godmother? Yep, her too. Fraternity Brother? Ex-Boyfriend? Coach? Pen Pal? Babysitter? Yep, they’re all covered too.

Go to Greeting Card Universe and place your order, if you think you’re cutting it too close you can even have Greeting Card Universe mail your cards directly to the recipient and all you have to do is pay the 44 cents postage!
