Based on the popular book of the same name the “Guess How Much I Love You” cartoon series has been a BIG hit with my girls. They love watching the adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare and his father Big Nutbrown Hare and their friends in the meadow.
As winter drags on the first thing my girls noticed about our new Guess How Much I Love You: Friendship Adventures DVD from was that the cover shows Spring flowers. “Mom! Will Little Nutbrown Hare be in SPRING?” I was immediately asked. Either way I’m just glad to have another engaging DVD on hand to keep my girls entertained while we are trapped indoors with frigid temperatures as wait for Spring to arrive in the real world.
This collection of seven episodes Little Nutbrown Hare learns some valuable lessons about friendship. From the importance of being a good friend and keeping promises, to sharing with others and taking responsibility, these episodes cover all friend related topics in a way that kids understand and can relate to.
Field Mouse, Little Grey Squirrel, Little Redwood Fox, and Little White Owl are along to explore with Little Nutbrown Hare as he meets and makes new friends. Here’s a list of the episodes that can be found on this 80 minute DVD (and can also be seen on Disney Junior) ::
- Favorite Thing
- Fly Away Home
- Follow Me
- I Promise
- All Fall Down
- New Friends
- Leaf Shade
When I asked my girls their thoughts on the newest DVD they just told me to say “We LOVE them and they’re AWESOME!” Pretty high praise from the kids at my house. With 4 thumbs up from my littlest critics I recommend this DVD for anyone else trying to make it through the end of a very long winter.

March 3, 2014 at 10:31 pmI love this story and just saw some Easter candy in the store from the book. I wasnt aware of the DVD. It’s nice to have a simple book, with a simple message that means a whole lot.
