Hallmark Has it All! { Giveaway }

Have you seen the commercials or the advertisements about the Recordable Books from Hallmark where your own voice is recorded while you read the story? I was first introduced to this by my grandmother. She was in a Hallmark store one day and told me all about it. She however wasn’t able to get the book because they were all out of stock. She wanted to record a story for my girls in her voice!

In true typical Hallmark fashion, this pregnant mama teared up at the following short video found on YouTube, shows a little more of what these books can do AND the memories that can be captured:

After further research, I found these books to be VERY cool AND, they are super simple to work. At first, I was having some challenges recording my voice. But it was 1:00 am…and I hadn’t read the directions. What was I thinking? After I read the directions, from there on out I recorded a book for my girls in one simple step. It was so easy!

The first time my oldest daughter opened the book, she listened and then asked, “Mommy, is this you talking?” She was just baffled! She still thinks it is one of the coolest things! One great feature on the book too is the fact that you lock the book after you record the story. So no worries, your kids won’t erase your sweet voice reading to them!

Over the holiday season I received coupons via email from Hallmark for these books. I would imagine if you sign up to receive coupons from Hallmark, you would get more for upcoming holidays. Maybe they will have some for Valentine’s Day? I’m not sure. Either way, the coupon was totally worth it. I believe it was $5-10 off a book.
