Have you ever tried skin care products made with goat’s milk?! I’ll admit when I first saw Happy Goat Milk Soap at our local farmer’s market last year I was skeptical. I’m all about milk – especially milk from a goat…but bathe in it?! I just love anything that is made from scratch though, and out of curiosity I bought a bar. I was hooked!
Happy Goat Soap takes pride in making and curing their soaps from scratch using milk from their own goats. I just love that. Completely fresh and REAL. And goat milk absorbs well into the skin soaking up so many of the great vitamins and minerals in the milk!
I received 2 bath/shower bars and 1 shampoo/body bar. The shampoo bar gets “sudsier” but I did like them both. I loved the lemon scent and the lavender! I didn’t attempt the shampoo bar on all my hair, but it worked great for my husband – one bar for hair and body was right up his alley too 😉 She also sent the pump goat milk lotion and liquid soap in the warm honey scent…oh it is SO yummy!!! Lastly I was sent samples of 2 fragrance oil bars and 2 essential oil bars. The orange Valencia was my favorite. There is a free sample bar in every package she sends out! I love that!
My oldest (3 ½ years old) was so excited about smelling everything 🙂 And since the ingredients are so safe I feel good about giving her a choice of which one she wants for her bath. (NOTE: All natural, oil/castile based soaps like these are naturally NOT tear free. I just keep away from little ones eyes. We rarely use soap on their skin much anyway, let alone the face. It’s good for washing up bottoms, feet, and hands though!)
Happy Goat Soap also proudly offers a line of unscented soaps and lotions for those who do not wish for a scent. I will be buying another shampoo bar unscented for my husband since it worked so well and he didn’t exactly want to smell so “pretty”!
