I have always struggled with my skin being far from flawless. In my teens I had acne, in my 20’s I started getting skin cancer, and in my 30’s I’m adding wrinkles to my list of skin grievances. I’m always looking for products to that work well with hiding my imperfections.
A couple of months ago I had a basal cell skin cancer removed from right temple. It was caught early, but it left a mark where they biopsied it. Hard Candy makes a liquid mattifier that can be added to your moisturizer or foundation to reduce pores, control oil, and leave a matte finish to your skin. I was quite pleased with how this product helps me “glamoflauge” my biopsy scar. It’s not perfect, but much improved.
I felt a little silly taking this selfie and I’m certainly not as polished as the beautiful Hard Candy model, but it does show you the Turn Me Matte product in an every day setting. Not only does it help me smooth out my temple, I felt like it gave my face an airbrushed look. I put a few drops of the Turn me Matte on my temple for extra coverage where I had skin cancer and mixed the rest with my moisturizer. Then I used my favorite powder foundation and typical makeup routine. I’m going to need you to believe me that it’s a much improved look. No need to see my unpainted face. 🙂
Since I am a frugal person, Hard Candy makeup is fun to experiment with because it’s not expensive. I am more willing to try new things when it’s not breaking the bank. This product retails for $6 and it’s only available at Walmart! Check out the whole line of Glamoflauge mix-in drops.
