has it been 10 years already? :: review {#daisyfuentes @kohls #realmomstyle#springfashion}

Daisy Fuentes has been sporting the aisles of Kohl’s for 10 years now – it’s her 10th anniversary! So in fun SIMPLE mom fashion, I’m sharing a few outfit choices I have put together featuring pieces of the current Daisy Fuentes line that can be found at Kohl’s!  From simple, to business, to mom on the run. This line has pieces that will make all happy.  In addition, there is black and white as well as pops of color too.

When I walked in the store, I was happy with what I found. After my in store shopping trip was completed, I was still yearning for a few of the pieces I saw online that weren’t carried in store. So, I went home and placed an order for the remaining things. I have a few outfits put together in this post and I’ll share another post with MORE outfits. Fun, right?!?

When I looked online before I went shopping, I saw this shirt dress.  Loved it online and happened to find it in my local Kohl’s too.  Winning!! Since it’s still winter temperatures, even though it’s almost April, I am pairing this dress with a cardigan I already owned. I love the pop of color the cardigan adds.  When it’s warmer, I will be wearing this with no cardigan. I love that the sleeves are a little longer for a short sleeved dress.  Very forgiving for the momma who isn’t in love with her arms, since recently having a baby 🙂 I am also wearing the long layering necklace from the Daisy Fuentes line too. I saw it in gold and silver, I opted for the silver because I liked it with this dress that way.

I also found some fabulous shades. Who doesn’t love a pair of shades to don during the fun summer months! Currently, I’m wearing them to shield my eyes from the bright sun and SNOW combination we have going on lol!

I found this great black and white peasant top too. I have an obsession with black and white combinations. They are fantastic on their own and you can easily spice it up with a pop of color!
This look I styled with thoughts of a “night out with my honey!” The ponte pants combined with the striped blouson top gave me a look that I would wear on a date, but certainly not a look for running around with the kids.  I’m not a heels on the move kinda gal 🙂 I do love the top because it’s very forgiving on my post partum mid-region right now. Any top that gathers at the bottom puts off a very finished look for those concerned about the look of their belly.
