hasbro’s bejeweled bedazzles my girls :: review and giveaway

Walking through the aisles at Target is dangerous, in and of itself.  But to be walking through the aisles and then spot a family game that you have been playing on your phone for a while now…uber dangerous!  Bejeweled is a board game that just got released and it had me at hello! 🙂  Not sure if it was all the wonderful colors on the box, the jewels poking through the middle saying “take me home!” or if it was the name…but I knew I had to try it out.

I received a copy to check out with my family and it’s been a good one to do with my Lili, who is almost 7 years old.  The game is recommended for 8+ years old, and I would encourage you to stick with that age recommendation.  While the game play is pretty simple, the set up and directions are not something a younger child will most likely sit though.  Granted, after you do it a few times, it gets easier and simpler.
