haywire group :: where’s that chipmunk? {giveaway}

Lucky, lucky me.  I get to share twice the fun today with 2 games from Haywire Group!  I’ve just spend the afternoon playing Where’s That Chipmunk? with my girls and they LOVE finding that little fuzzy friend!

Where’s That Chipmunk? is a great family game for kids ages 3 and up. You can have 2-6 players and I’m sure there will be days where we play that I’m just hiding the chipmunk and setting out clues for the kids.

To play Where’s That Chipmunk? one person picks out 3 clues from a deck of photo clue cards.  Then, at or near one of the clues, the player hides the chipmunk while everyone else closes their eyes.  After that the players doing the search get to see all 3 clue cards and take off to find the chipmunk.  The first one to bring the fuzzy friend back gets an acorn marker and after 3 acorns they’ve won the game.

There’s no reading required and the game comes with cards for indoor and/or outdoor play.  I’m especially excited about adding our own cards to the deck using the provided blanks.  Just add a photo and you’ve customized the game to your own playing space or home!

The possibilities are endless for playing the game if you’re willing to do a little work to add those blank cards for different locations.  At my grandparents’ cottage there’s 4+ types of boats, ceramic ducks, a tree with a face, and a dinner bell.  All it will take is a little planning ahead and we are sure to have fun playing Where’s That Chipmunk? all summer long!
