Happy Valentine’s Day! Who doesn’t love the long time treat of a Twinkie? These delicious cream filled treats have been around for year and years and years. These sweet treats bring back so many memories of childhood for so many. From the packaging to the taste, you can’t help but smile about it.
Who needs a last minute snack for your child’s school? This would be perfect to share with those elementary kids. They would really get a kick out of it. Plus, it is super easy to make.
Ingredients:
- Twinkies
- Vanilla or chocolate frosting
- Sprinkles
- Bread knife
- Unwrap two Twinkies and gently cut the corners off, check out the photo for more details.
- Add a little frosting to the sides you cut off so it will stick together nicely making the heart shape.
- Top with frosting then add sprinkles.
What’s fun is that they have Twinkies that are Chocolate Crème as well. I chose to use those with chocolate frosting. You can use regular Twinkies too and add any type of frosting you want. Pink would be fun too.
These are perfect for after dinner dessert or a classroom treat. This is just a fun and easy way to make a quick treat. So hurry up and go grab some Twinkies and frosting to make up this delicious treat.
How do you plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day? Do you have a treat planned? Would love to hear your ideas?

February 11, 2016 at 9:26 amI didn’t know there was such a thing as chocolate filled twinkies, yum. For valentine’s day we’re going to watch a movie at home and have some pizza and probably a dessert like chocolate pie.
