heroes of the city baby :: app review

disclaimer no giveaway

From making their own siren noises to oohing and ahhing over the flashing lights, all three of my kids have loved seeing and watching rescue vehicles even at the earliest age. And, rightfully so because even the youngest of heroes want to get in on the “rescue” action! That’s why I know that your toddlers are going to love the newest app from Heroes of the City:

Designed for kids ages 0-2 years, Heroes of he City Baby features short videos of some of your favorite Heroes of the City characters — Paulie Police Car, Fiona Fire Engine and, of course, Calamity Crow! Check them out here:

The videos are just long enough to keep toddlers’ attention and keep them entertained. Choose to play and watch each video individually or in succession, automatically moving on to the next video after one has finished. That second option is great for younger babies/toddlers who haven’t quite figured out how to navigate from one video to another!

Then get creative with the different learning games, including a music maker game that looks like a little car dashboard, a shape matching game, balloon popping game, and a simple drawing game.

All of the games are simple enough for those young users. For example, the drawing/coloring feature has the crayon periodically change colors without your toddler having to do anything. And there aren’t a bunch of options or settings that can easily get your toddler confused. Just simple, straight forward fun!

As a mom, of course I love how fun and interactive the app is, but more so I appreciate that the app is “child safe” with no advertising or in-app purchasing! No worries of baby racking up your credit card bill with app add-ons!! And the app is FREE! Yes, FREE!!!

If you’re looking for a fun new app to keep your little one entertained while you make that quick stop at the grocery store or appointment, be sure to check out Heroes of the City Baby!
