hey diddle diddle the boy and a sippy cup :: poli usa :: review

I don’t know if your toddler is like mine, but my little guy is constantly changing his mind… I want the blue sippy cup. I want to straw sippy cup. I want to drink like a big boy! I don’t want to drink at all. It’s exhausting trying to keep us with his little brain, but thankfully I have a cupboard full of sippy cups to keep his little imagination satisfied!

One of the newest additions to our sippy cup cupboard (yes… they have a whole cupboard to themselves!) is made by Poli USA. These cute cups are made with nursery rhyme themes that keep little minds engaged in beautifully simple illustrations. My little guy received Hey Diddle Diddle and he immediately pointed at the cup and said “moon!” and proceeded to point out everything he knew on the cup.

BPA and Phthalate free, this sippy cup is safe for your child! In addition to being made from safe materials, all of the parts are easy to clean, and it has a tethered valve, so you do not have to worry about losing parts when you take it apart to clean.

The angled spout makes it easier for my son to drink from the cup because he doesn’t have to tip his head as far back as with traditional sippy cups. The liquid seems to flow through it easiely (though my son typically drinks water… so I can not compare it to thicker liquids like milk).

As you can see from the pictures, the label is a little crooked and lacks a straight edge… this was a little disappointing to me AND to the manufacturer! That is why they are currently undergoing a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a newer/better machine for making their great product look even nicer! 🙂 You can be rest assured, if you pre-order one of these the label will be in tip top shape!

Thankfully little kids do not notice little imperfections like the one I mentioned… Perhaps we all need to be a little more like children and this world would be a better place! My son loves his Poli sippy cup, so it is definitely KID APPROVED!
