“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Welch’s. I received product samples to facilitate my review, a gift code to giveaway, and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
Do you go an entire day, hop in bed and wonder what on earth happened and where the day went? I can’t tell you how often that happened to me this summer! I started the summer off thinking we would be doing endless amounts of day trips and little excursions to make memories all summer long. While my “grand plan” was amazing in my head, it was the little things this summer that made the memories for our family.
When I first read about a campaign from Welch’s, “Share the Good”, I was intrigued because it seems that many people are sad or not happy or just TOO darn busy these days from their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram posts. The point of the campaign is to help bring the “kitchen table” moments back in families lives – and to the forefront of their minds, in my opinion. 🙂 Remember back in the day when you would see June Cleaver fixing supper and the family would be around the table? While I understand life is a little crazier now than back then, why not start creating an atmosphere like this. It can start with something very simple and do-able!
At the Sharewhatsgood.com site you will be able to find some fun family ideas, recipes, a place to share photos of your and to see what others are doing. every picture that has the hashtag #sharewhatsgood on Twitter and Instagram witll show up in this feed. Fun, huh!?!? 🙂 Go on over, bookmark the site now so you can keep going back.
That for us was a moment that I’ll remember. The girls were laughing at how fast it all happened and I was too 🙂 Many little memories were created this summer, many of which were NOT planned. I think that’s the best way to create them sometimes!
Let me hear from you. How do you make “family moments” in your home? They don’t have be huge moments, it can be something small. I would love to hear from you! Leave a comment below so we can all get talking about it!
Also, in the meantime, start sharing your OWN photos Twitter and Instagram, using the #sharewhatsgood hashtag! And stay tuned – I have a fun “Share What’s Good” Photo Contest coming this month too!
