My mood is easily swayed by music. It baffles my husband because he’s not that way at all. I can be in a perfectly good mood and an “angry” song will come on the radio and by the time it’s over I’ve turned into a grouch. But the opposite is often true as well. So when I need a pick-me-up I listen to silly, happy music. Music that makes me bob my head, bounce around in my seat a little, and make silly faces. (My personal favorite is the Bill Cosby face but really anything that will make me smile and laugh at my own absurdity)! This fun little album by
Daisy Uke (see what she did there?) certainly fits the bill for happy, head-bobbing music!
Her music is the kind that makes you want to grab your tiny humans by the hand and dance around the living room or maybe just sing when you’re feeling silly. The title of the album is “Ukulele Garden Songs” and all of the songs have something to do with outdoors – butterflies, hummingbirds, tea parties, and swinging. My girls really love the swinging one! My 3 year old bops around the house singing it all the time!
This is a fun little album that you’ll enjoy with your kids and find yourself humming when you’re in the car by yourself. And maybe, if you’re like me, it’ll brighten your day and make you smile!

July 6, 2014 at 11:42 amI know exactly what you mean about music swaying your mood. I am the same way. If I am on a bummer there is certain music I like to listen to. If I am doing a workout and need motivation I put on a different kind of music. I have never heard of Daisy Uke. I will have to check it out, Thanks!
