I recently discovered this cool app called Ibotta. I’m always trying to be frugal and part of my penny pinching means I don’t have a smartphone yet. Key word, YET! 🙂 However, I was very happy to discover that this app not only is for smartphone users, but it works on my iPod touch as well!
So, to continue on with the theme of saving money, this app is easy to use and I get cash deposited into my Paypal account (when I hit $5) and all I have to do is upload my receipts through this app when I purchase items they are offering cash back on. It gets smarter the more I personalize it too. I earned $3.25 on 5 items from a recent trip to Target. It takes very little time to get to the payout point of $5. In addition to the $3.25 Ibotta gave me, I had manufacturer AND Target coupons I used for most of the items so they were all nearly free. Now that’s my kind of shopping! It’s fun to add items to your list before your shopping trip, but even more exciting to see your earnings after you upload your receipt.
