ideas on what to buy with your christmas money

I don’t know about you, but I have a really hard time making a list each year for wants for myself. An easy solution would be to write things down THROUGHOUT the year, so I would have a list in November/December. But, alas, I do not do that. I am going to try this year though, fingers crossed! But, the reason I’m telling you this is because I (like so many people!) received gift cards and/or cash and mall gift cards for gifts this year. I did a little shopping at Kohl’s and wanted to share with you some things I found that I’m loving!! My hope is to help you #spendallyomoney and enjoy what you purchase!

What do you typically get when you go shopping for yourself? I love to hear that. If I can find some good quality, cute socks, I’m purchasing them. A girl can’t have too many socks, ya know? Ha!

Lauren Conrad leggings. You can get them for $9.99 right now. I have these in every color offered, and I just picked up a couple duplicates in case the original ones I have get ruined. Yes, totally love them. They are available in solid colors too.

Boyfriend cardigan. Again, a staple for Michigan weather. I am loving the boyfriend cardi’s with dresses as well as skinny jeans and boots/booties. Right now, I have my eye on the Boyfriend Cardi from their Juniors department (don’t be afraid to shop that section ladies, just shop your age) as well as the Lauren Conrad Mixed Stitch Boyfriend Cardi. I had a cardi that I LOVED in the off white color…but it shrunk because I didn’t properly wash it. So, it needs to be replaced with one of these. I’ll share what I decide 🙂

Fun boots. Whether you are looking for some ankle boots to drudge around in, some cute outdoor boots or some “fashion” type boots that will look great fora day trip shopping, there are plenty of options available!

Slippers. Mommas need slippers. Period.

A new bra. Because we all need a little lift every now and then. Right? Watch for Vanity Fair…they are my new go-to’s lately! I always find them for a screamin’ deal at Kohl’s too!

Handbag. A black purse, the perfect size. I found the one shown

Accessories. Add something new to your jewelry box. It’s amazing how it can change a long. Whether it’s a long, layering necklace or a new pair of earrings.

Fringe scarf. I have the Madden Girl Fringe Infinity scarf and I think it’s a fun addition to an outfit.

Floppy hat. I still feel a bit uncomfortable when I wear this, yet every time I wear it, I always get compliments. So, you should grab one. I have the Mudd Floppy hat in black. Tan is left, and I’m sure is still as rockin’!

Lightweight jacket. If you are like me,  you need outdoor options. We never know what each day holds here in Michigan. I found this cute Juniors Madden Girl Buffalo Check jacket, and I’m loving it! I have my eye on the Marled Hooded Fleece Jacket as well. This one would probably last a little longer, style wise, than the adorable buffalo check one. Yet, the buffalo check one is in my closet. So, there’s that lol!
