That’s exactly the case in Amy Dixon’s new book “Sophie’s Animal Parade“.
Sophie loves to draw and, in Sophie’s world, everything she draws comes to life. Sounds fun, right? Until one day when Sophie decides to draw a new friend to play with :: a snuggly little polar bear!
Of course things get a bit out of control when the polar bear is to warm to play, so she draws a duck. But the duck just wants to splash in water, so Sophie draws a giraffe. And on and on and on until her room has become much too crowded by new animal friends.
In “Sophie’s Animal Parade” she must figure out what to do with all these animals before they destroy her room! And, in the process, she discovers a new friends {not a drawn friend} who thinks her drawings are just as magical as she does!
“Sophie’s Animal Parade” is an adorable story that preschoolers will love! They’ll find the animal antics absolutely hilarious and the illustrations {done by Katia Wish} charming! What a fun little read for the summer as kids are exploring different animals around them at home or at the zoo!!!
