Infantino has recently released an adorable app and “cuddly” (as my girls call it) for the iPhone/iPod Touch. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect, I thought it was just going to be another run of the mill app. But, I was wrong. This app is adorable and fun to play! My Adalynn is 2 years old and enjoys it often. Here is how you can get your own HappiTaps setup:
- Purchase a HappiTaps cover online
- Download the free HappiTaps App from the App store onto your iPhone or iPod Touch*
- Insert the iPhone or iPod Touch into the cover
- Watch your child’s new friend come to life!
Now if you are anything like me, you may be thinking why on earth would I allow my toddler to play with my phone. Sooo many things can happen to it if it were thrown, dropped, etc. Now, enter the HappiTaps Beary Happi CASE! Now your toddler can play with the phone WITH a protective cover surrounding it so no mishaps occur. It’s super cute and makes the kiddos think they have their own little techy game.
Infantino has taken a classic teddy toy and added a modern twist that brings your smart phone to life with a little friend that tells jokes, carries on casual conversations, shares fun facts, and displays emotions.
Not only is this app completely adorable, it is totally user friendly. My Adalynn was able to pick up this app, have fun with it and I didn’t have to show her how to do, well, really anything! She sings songs, feeds the cute little bear, hears stories, plays games and more. Add the cuddly little case, and it’s a fun, inexpensive education “toy”! The only downside is if I have to use my phone! LOL!
Here is short little video so you can see what it is I’m talking about:
