My little guy has been wanting to help with everything lately! I am loving that he is interested in so many different things and wants to learn something new! He is constantly looking for ways to help me clean or put things away, and is always right by daddy’s side when he’s working on projects too!

One of the things we have been really enjoying together is making things in the kitchen! As soon as I am getting dinner ready or working on making some kind of dessert, he goes and brings his stool and is right by my side asking to mix! We’ve been really enjoying this time together, and since I know he might not always be this eager to be with me and to help, I’m trying to use the time to enjoy quality time and to teach him some little things!
We recently received our first SoBakeable box, and I knew it was going to be something fun for us to make together! We loved having all our ingredients measured our for us, and the easy to follow instructions made it a fun, quick baking project for us!
Our box had two different desserts. The Chocolate Melting Moments were the perfect treat for us, since we all love chocolate! They were made from two chocolate crunchy cookies sandwiched around a delicious chocolate ganache, drizzled with chocolate and sprinkled with beautiful gold sugar!

The second baked good was a little more unique and is perfect for Valentine’s Day! The strawberry éclairs were made from an easy to make dough, then filled with strawberry cream, and finished off with white chocolate, freeze dried strawberries, and strawberry malt balls!

These boxes would make a great gift for someone with little ones who love to bake, or the perfect gift for someone who likes homemade treats and loves to bake! Each month is a chance to try 2 new desserts with the ingredients already planned out! I loved the selection for Valentine’s Day and can’t wait to try the next one!
